COG and ZOG

Ralph Nader and other Leftist "progressives" have taken to referring to Washington as "Corporate-Occupied Territory", "Corporate-Occupied Government" or some variation on that. This locution is uncomfortably close to the use by the anti-Semitic Right of "Zionist Occupied Government" when referring to supposed evil "Jewish power" and its control of the American Government (presumably for the benefit of Israel).

Considering the strong similarity between the two references, one would think that this is hardly a coincidence. The wonder is that no one in the mainstream media has questioned Mr. Nader and the other "progressives" about this usage. Now that he is running for president again, he seems to be on TV and in the news constantly and makes these kinds of references frequently, thus there are many opportunities to question him on this. Is this too embarrassing a question to ask this icon of “progressivism "? Or, almost as distressing, perhaps the leading lights of the media are too ignorant, or not informed enough, to recognize the connection? Considering Mr. Nader's and the Left's hatred of Israel and of "Zionist" influence in America, it would seem the question would be a very natural one - again, assuming that all these "talking heads" know enough to make the connection.
