The Craziness Accelerates

"Rewriting the Ad Rules for Muslim-Americans" - NY Times Article 28 April 07.

America's rush to cultural (and physical?) suicide continues. In the heedless pursuit of short-term profits, American business "accommodates" Islam and Muslims; bending our culture and institutions to "embrace" the adherents of this retarded religion. Major corporations are being urged to advertise to Muslims in their own terms (I don't recall such efforts being made for, say, the Amish or ultra Orthodox Jews, however), even to supporting a Koran cable channel. How frightening is that?

The coda says it all. The last line in the article quotes a Muslim woman: “We should be included,” Ms. Fouz said. “We live here.” Yes, in America but not of it.
